Wanting to improve your skills at pitching for business? Hear from Project Manager Elaine Fellowes about a series of engaging workshops which will provide the skills and techniques required to pitch your business to a potential customer, supplier, funder or partner.
Venturefest Scotland is nearly upon us and this year the event will once again take place at the Glasgow Science Centre on Thursday 1st September. It is intended to attract ambitious growth businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and innovators; designed to inspire, inform and connect.
The event, which is part of the Venturefest Network, provides a platform for SMEs in Scotland to network, to learn, to share expertise and ideas, and ultimately to do business.
This year’s theme focuses on “Innovation and Design as enablers of Business Growth” and new for 2016 is Pitchfest Scotland. Through a series of engaging workshops Pitchfest will provide the skills and techniques required to pitch your business to a potential customer, supplier, funder or partner which is an essential part of building and growing any business. Specifically, Pitchfest Scotland will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Learn how to pitch and why it matters
- Learn how to use pitching as a means to find ideas to solve a problem
- See how others pitch to funders and what those funders might want to know
